If one’s in a situation where they feel like a resident, a friend, a colleague who’s in an assisted living facility is not getting good care, there are various avenues you can take. One is to show up at odd hours and be proactive in visiting the resident and letting the people who are on staff know that you’re there and you’re there often at different hours. That basically puts you in a position to see and hear what’s going on with the resident on your schedule as opposed to their schedule.
